A Hamstring Injury For Leonard Fournette Is Not Worth The Play

Leonard Fournette injured his right hamstring in last week’s Jacksonville Jaguars’ victory over the New York Giants.  The problem is, Fournette is still hurting.  Although Fournette claims his hamstring is better and he could very likely play on Sunday against the New England Patriots, which is the big game of the week, do not start him.

The Jaguars have a reliable backup in T.J. Yeldon and it is the second week of the season.  Yes, it is a big game, but why chance Fournette doing more damage to his hamstring and be out for a lengthy period of time?  It is not worth it.  The Jaguars are a good enough team that they will make the playoffs even if they lose to the Patriots this week.  Even if Fournette does play, a weak hamstring is not going to get him quality fantasy points.
