Although Carson Wentz is back this week, veteran wide receiver Mike Wallace will not be around for Wentz to use as a target.  Playing on a one-year deal Wallace signed with the Eagles in March, coming over from the Pittsburgh Steelers, Wallace broke what is thought to be his fibula this past weekend against Tampa Bay.

But, will Wallace be truly missed by Wentz?  This might be Wentz’s first game back, but in the two games that Wallace did play and had Nick Foles throwing to him, Wallace had zero catches.  However, is the same Wallace that for his career has 538 receptions for 8,072 receiving yards and 57 receiving touchdowns.  Foles might just not have had the right combination with Wallace, but Wentz sure could have used the experience on the outside.
